DMA Media has announced the integration of iOMedia’s AΩχ innovation into its journalism and broadcast services.
AΩχ (Alpha Omega) is a human-controlled AI news assistant designed specifically to support 'ethical' journalism. It's built to empower journalists - not replace them - allowing them to concentrate on deeper journalism.
It's headed by John O'Loan, who launched and ran Sky News, and is a well-recognised innovation leader in global news.
Alpha Omega ensures that every stage of the editorial process remains transparent, accountable, and under human control.
DMA is already in partnership with The Ray for AI, translation and voice-cloning services.
Earlier this year it announced a partnership with another AI project in the Gulf, MediaVerse.
DMA’s CEO, Rob Beynon, said: "We remain committed to providing the very latest that AI can offer globally, but with the editorial and production integrity very much to the fore of what we do."
Alpha Omega and DMA’s other AI initiatives are already being rolled out by several broadcasters and start-ups around the world.
